1. Search below for the items you’d like to request and add them to your cart by clicking the plus icon. Some items will automatically add required accessories.

  2. Click the cart in the bottom right corner of the screen to check all of the items you’ve selected.

  3. Add the dates and times you need the equipment by choosing “Select Dates” in the cart window. **PLEASE NOTE - we need at least 48 business hours to process your request, confirm availability, and prepare the gear.

  4. Click “Contact Info” and enter your information. We mostly just need your First and Last name and UMD email address. In the notes section please give a brief description of your project, identify what part of UMD you’re affiliated with, and ask any questions.

  5. Click “Send List” and your request will be sent to the Maya Brin Institute managers to confirm. This site doesn’t display possible conflicts, so our team needs to confirm equipment availability for your project.

    ***In order to check out most equipment, you will need to be approved for handling the gear. This happens either at a Brin workshop or via appointment.***
